Vision
E3 envisions a Nevada where every student — regardless of where they live or the resources their community has — has a clear pathway into STEM and engineering, and the support to walk it. We see a generation of young people who not only master technical skills, but use them to lead, to solve real problems, and to strengthen the communities and state they call home.
Mission
E3's mission is to engage students in hands-on learning across key fields of engineering through:
Aerospace Engineering — the design and development of aircraft and spacecraft
Computer Engineering — where computer science and electrical engineering meet
Geospatial Engineering — using GIS to map, analyze, and interpret spatial data and solve location-based problems
Beyond the afterschool program, E3 connects students with real-world experience through field trips to sites where engineering happens and opens doors to the profession.
At its core, E3 believes STEM is a tool for change. We prepare students not only to master engineering, but to apply it in service of their communities — advancing social justice through innovation and equipping young people to solve the real problems they see around them. E3 also extends STEM beyond the classroom through community engagement, building public awareness of STEM and its growing role in everyday life so that whole communities, not just students, can share in its opportunities.
